CUSTOMER PHOTOS OF PROJECTS USING OUR CANNON WHEEL
Bob Kutzenberger of VA said:
I purchased a set of custom 20-inch cannon wheels from you to build a
1/3 scale 1841 six pound cannon.
I
have been working on this cannon on and off ever since that time, and
have finally reached a point where it is completely functional, but not
yet finished (painted). Final finishing/painting is going to have to
wait for Spring and warmer weather! The scale worked out to be in the
range of .351, or slightly larger than 1/3 scale.
In the
meantime, I thought I'd send you a couple of pictures of the project as
it stands today. It is 100% functional (A real hoot to shoot!) and
complete with sponge rods, rammers, worm, linstock, hand spikes, and
sponge bucket. God willing and the creek don't rise, I'll send you
another picture after I get things painted this coming Spring.
Thank you for providing the wheels. They are beautiful!
NEW: We now have
an option of instead
of screws being used
to fasten the metal
tire more securely
on the wheel, 3/16"
bolts are available
with flat heads
that go through the rim/fellows and adds
far more strength
to the wheels as well
as makes it look more authentic. (Choose
option during
ordering.)
